The Aboriginal Community Elders Services (ACES) is the only Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community controlled organisation in an urban setting which provides all three aged care programs:
ACES is a 25 bed Residential Aged Care Facility situated in tranquil part of East Brunswick. We offer high and low care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Elders.
Koori Community Aged Care Program (KCACP) provides a range of care services to assist and enhance Elders’ quality of life and maintain their independence to remain living at home independently, in good health as long as possible.
We ensure the provision of quality, innovative and flexible planned activity group programs which are culturally appropriate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders.
ACES in partnership with Merri Health will create culturally safe and supportive opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander carers to access tailored services.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this website may contain images or names of deceased persons.
ACES acknowledges and pays respect to all the Elders of the Traditional Owners of this land known as Victoria.
Our service is based on the banks of the Merri Creek in Brunswick East on the lands of the proud Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
