Donations in Memoriam
In loving memory of Aunty Fay Carter OAM
In lieu of flowers and at the request of Aunty Fay’s family, tributes can be made in the form of contributions to the Aboriginal Community Elders Services Inc.
Aunty Fay dedicated her life to advocacy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
She often spoke of the Elders that formed and shaped her life – Aunty Fay was inspired by their determination to see their cultures, histories and connection to Country live on.
In 1992, inspired by Aunty Iris Lovett Gardiner’s idea for a caring place for Elders, Aunty Fay helped establish the Aboriginal Community Elders Service (ACES) that we know today
Aunty Fay immortalised that experience through her work as the first CEO of ACES which would then see her then move on to becoming life member and Board member of ACES until her passing.

Our Programs
ACES acknowledges and pay respects to all the Elders of the Traditional Owners of this land now known as Victoria.
Our service is based on the banks of the Merri Creek in Brunswick East on the lands of the proud Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
