International Representation

This conference marked a historic milestone for ACES, as two of our members; Board Member Dr Uncle Glenn Harrison and Strategy & Policy Manager Nigel D’Souza had the honour of representing us on the international stage at the United Nations Conference in New York.
This was a significant moment, not only for ACES but for Elders across Australia, as it was the first time Elders from our communities were invited to present at the UN. Uncle Glenn and Nigel powerfully raised the voices and issues of our Elders, and we are incredibly proud of their contribution.
From the video of their presentation, it’s clear they represented ACES with strength and integrity. We sincerely thank them both for their commitment and the personal sacrifice involved in taking our message to the world. They did ACES proud.
